The Petit Badon Provençal farmhouse is in the heart of the Camargue, close to both Arles and its nearby beaches. Nestled in a typical Camargue landscape of marshes and pastures, the farmhouse covers several hectares. It includes two restored buildings: La Forge du Petit Badon and Le Café du Petit Badon. These former farmhouses have been fully rehabilitated to offer comfortable and convinient accommodation, whilst retaining their authentic nature.
Historically, the Petit Badon was a farm estate dedicated to grain production and equine husbandry. Today, it is part of an ecological restoration project carried out in collaboration with the Tour du Valat. It aims to contribute to the preservation of wetlands and the development of local biodiversity through recreating a 14-hectare seasonal marsh on former agricultural land.
Le Petit Badon is widely considered a remarkable place to stay. Often described as a peaceful haven, it is a location where you can truly unwind and discover the natural and cultural wonders of the Camargue.
